| The heart of the suburbs might seem an unusual place for a display of military vehicles, but this event was a bit out of the ordinary. This is set up as a learning day for young minds on things mechanical, particularly automotive, and the displays ranged from wonderful meccano creations to steam-driven cars. I went with Euan McDonald in his CGT. |

| Several Victorian Military Vehicle Corps members were there an a variety of vehicles. |

Towards the end of the day the children (and some parents) were able to sample the vehicles. |

| This forward control landy arrived with it's big block chev growling, and has been known to do 4-wheel burnouts. |
