Around the main mill were the more active trucks.
This started out as a C60S or L (it's hard to tell). Fitted with a tired Holden red motor it does duty as the main forklift for the mill. It has dual control and is one of the more thorough conversions.
The Chev forklift in action. I filmed this truck in July 2002 and it will appear in the sequel to "Year of the Blitz".
Fitted as a fire truck is this fairly tidy C60L.   Data plate from truck at left shows it to have been a RAAF dropside GS tray originally.

Late production Chevrolets had the overflow tank mounted under the floor.
Close by another C60L tray.
Late production C60L yard crane. This winch has been fitted with a disc brake.
Data plate from above C60L. Interesting use of Chamberlain tractor radiator. This truck has a Ford roof.
F60L cab 12 with a cab 13 roof This would give a radical reverse slope to the windscreen!
F60L set up as a forklift.
