Located
at 200 Bessie Creek Road, Nar Nar Goon, Victoria,
this museum is full of restored horse-drawn transport vehicles used in
WW1. Amongst curator Bernie Dingle's extensive skills are blacksmithing,
woodworking, horse skills. Bernie is also a wheelwright. This is a working
museum. Many of the exhibits are regularly used in parades such as the
ANZAC Day parade and other ceremonial occasions. Opening hours are every day from 10AM to 5PM. Public holidays by arrangement. Bernie also caters for group bookings. The contact number is 03 59425512, mobile 0408 567 698. |
